Here's a short and simple letter to let you all know about the updates to GeekStop Spot!



1. First off, we have made a new home page at GSS. (http://geekstopspot.com) This will be known as the main portal to make your way around our entire site. There's many features on the portal which include...

-GSS Google- This search engine is made especially for all of our friends here at GSS. The sites which you post will show up towards the top of the search engine, so you can be sure you find what you're looking for.

-GSS Links- This is where you let us all know about your favorite sites, then we add them to the list for all to use!

-GSS Feeds- Here is where we list a few of our favorite feeds. You could add these, then find out about the latest updates on multiple websites.

-GSS Blog- The blog will have the latest news found in it about GSS. If you want to know about the latest and greatest deals, you can always check there!


2. Our forums have had many changes and updates made to them such as...

-Points- These are kind of a bonus to our members for posting, playing in the arcade, and helping out others. There are a few things which you can buy to use on our forums with your points. Simply click on IbMarket at the top of the forum page to get there.

-Arcade- Our arcade is growing day by day. Don't forget that you win points just for playing the games! Occasionally tournaments will be held and points will be given away as a reward.

-Hosting- There is a new deal which is called "Posting for Hosting". If you post on the forums, you will receive free hosting with cpanel included! So if you always wanted to have your own website, but never had the money, here's your chance! More about this in the blog, or the news section of the forum. (Also more information about this below.)

-Affiliates- To be added to our affiliates list, all you have to do is fill out a form. Normally your site will be approved within the day. The link to this can be found on the forums at the top of the page.

-Applications- We are currently accepting applications to be part of our Staff here at GSS! If you feel you would fit the position, please fill out the form. Link can be found on at the top of the forums.


3. GSS has now opened hosting packages! Our website is in the making, so please stay tuned! However, if you would like hosting, please email myself (Aaron) at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and we here at GSS will see what we can do!

-Packages- Packages range from $5 to over $50 a month. It all depends on what features you need, and how much storage/bandwidth you will be using.

-Referrals- If any member refers someone to our hosting deals, and they purchase one, you will receive 50% of the payment the first month and 10% of the payment every other month! All you have to do is tell others!

-Website- GeekStop Spot will soon be releasing a hosting website, and the link will be found on the main portal. Please check back on the portal in a week or two to catch a glimpse of our hosting website!
